T O P I C R E V I E WMatt TAnybody got any experience of building one of these Saturn Vs? http://www.apogeerockets.com/saturn5.asp Cheers,MattRizzWOW!!I wonder if you need a special permit to launch that puppy rocket ronI just added that to my Christmas list last night. The owner had a write up in my Embry- Riddle Alumni magazine. Don't know if my wife is going to feel like adding to my ever growing collection of stuff, but at 62 inches tall that would make a great display. If we can get some additional interest maybe we (Collect Space) could get a group discount. divemasterThe Apogee kits are NOT for the beginner. Lots of vacuum formed wraps which are very fragile and unforgiving. If you haven't worked with this type of multi media kit, practice on something else before shelling out the big money. However, both of the Apogee Saturn kits are nothing short of awesome.-tracyMadon_spacei HAVE COMPLETED MINE ABOUT 2 MONTHS AGO AND IT IS ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT,DEFFINATELY WORTH THE MONEY I PAID FOR IT.tHE ONLY PROBLEM I FOUND WAS THE PAINT WORK WHICH CAN BE A BIT DIFFICULT IN PLACES.ModelMakerwhat a model - you probably need faa approval to launch the sucker. lol! good luck. it sounds like a winner.
Cheers,Matt
